How do I access my course's webinar?
If you are enrolled in Mindful Educator Essentials, Mindful Communication, or Difficult Emotions your course contains one live webinar. The webinar will show up in your course dashboard as a separate activity with it's own green check box.
You don't need to be caught up on your coursework to attend the webinar. You only need to have completed the training agreement or confidentiality policy in the opening activities.
Check the Webinar activity in your course for the link to your webinar; it's usually in week 4 or 5. Instructions for accessing your webinar are in the webinar activity, and below. You will also receive an email from Mindful Schools with the login information for your webinar.
You can join your webinar from your computer, tablet or phone.
To obtain the link or call-in number, login to your course and navigate to the webinar activity in your course dashboard. This is usually in week 4 or 5 of your course.
If you have never joined a Zoom meeting before and are joining from a laptop or desktop, you'll need to download an application called Zoom. The process is seamless and doesn't take long, but you should allow a couple extra minutes to do it. You can do this in advance of the meeting time if you wish.
If you don't have access to the internet, you can join via telephone by calling the number in your webinar's activity and entering the meeting ID.
Viewing on Phones & Tablets:
We recommend viewing the webinar on a laptop or desktop computer. However, for those who wish to view the Live Webinar on a Tablet (iPad, for example) or on a smartphone you will need to install the free Zoom Cloud Meeting application for your iPhone/iPad or Android device.
